Touchstone Prayer

The Touchstone Prayer Team meets on from 6-7 p.m. Tuesdays to pray for the needs of Touchstone and those of our constituents. To join us in person or submit a prayer request, contact us.  Please pray for the following:

General Theme: Comfort and help in various forms of grief and suffering.


  • A strong Touchstone board of directors that says, “I want to do more.”

  • A new volunteer for CiViL.

  • Jim’s Mom continues to improve after a stroke.

  • The installation of Rev. Corey Osborn, alumni of Touchstone’s ministry to students.

  • Some powerful letters of gratitude from CiViL Service students to veterans, active duty military personel, and first responders.

  • For a family adopting a needy student


  • Comfort for a staff member after the loss of their grandfather

  • Comfort and help for survivors of the California wild fires

  • Comfort for several friends in broken relationships

  • Comfort and courage for a student who reported abuse

  • Continued healing for Jim’s mom and wisdom in the decision-making for her care.

  • Healing, comfort, and salvation for a cousin with terminal cancer.

  • Healing and comfort for a mother with terminal cancer.

  • Healing and comfrot for a Christian musician with terminal cancer.

  • Guidance for long term planning, including staffing, volunteers, budget and fundraising.

  • Time, energy, ideas, and logistics for new earned-income sources (like books)

  • Wisdom and provision for a family considering adoption

  • Jobs for three team members
