Touchstone Prayer

The Touchstone Prayer Team meets on from 6-7 p.m. Tuesdays to pray for the needs of Touchstone and those of our constituents. We will not meet on Christmas Day or New Years Day, but let’s still remember each other in prayer on those days. To join us in person or submit a prayer request, contact us.  Please pray for the following:

General Theme: Please pray for our students' academic success.

PRAISES

  • One of our team found part-time work after looking & praying for months!

  • A successful performance & devotional by Jim at Rocketown

  • Relief from a health problem for one of our team members

  • Inspiring wisdom from a friend: “Embrace the life you didn’t plan on.”

PETITIONS

TOUCHSTONE/CIVIL:

  • Staff stres

  • Show Your Love campaign to provide personal items for foster & homeless students.

  • Finances

  • Quick set up for new CRM software

  • God’s blessing on our past interns

  • Protection for our staff, interns, and volunteers from attacks of all kinds

HEALTH ISSUES:

  • A friend has severe muscle pain resulting from an infected spinal disk.

  • Several CiViL students have life-threatening illness.

  • Healing for several pulled muscles in Jim’s hip

  • A friend with bronchitus

  • A friend with the flu

  • A friend with breast cancer

  • A friend’s recovery from shoulder surgery

GRIEF & TROUBLE:

  • A friend’s son in severe depression

  • A friend with an explosively tempered boss

  • A friend’s ending marriage and the family’s grief

  • Wisdom and guidance to the Youth For Christ team who are working with those teens.

  • Political violence in Haiti where many of our missionary friends have been working

  • A workshop performance of “The Last Days of Buster Drumwright” (music by Jim Weber, Nan Gurley, and Billy Sprague) in late March/early April
