Touchstone Prayer List

The Touchstone Prayer Team meets on from 6-7 p.m. Tuesdays to pray for the needs of Touchstone and those of our constituents. To join us in person or submit a prayer request, contact us.  Please pray for the following:

General Theme: Please pray that God will provide a new office home for Touchstone. b

PRAISES

  • Melony Pugh-Weber did her first Story Slam (a live storytelling event), and it went great!

  • Jim’s Aslan’s Lair Reunion Concert in Knoxville was a wonderful experience!

  • Jim has several other new music opportunities coming up.

  • Local church youth pastors are showing some interest in taking part in CiViL.

  • An encouraging post-stroke treatment plan for a friend’s father

  • We have received a pledge for matching funds for this year’s Touchstone Trubute in September. We are looking for more.

  • God has provided some much-needed funding for our summer programs.

  • CiViL-Rocketown continues to make deep and positive impact on our students.

  • Jim’s important meeting (last week’s petitions) went great!

PETITIONS

TOUCHSTONE/CIVIL:

  • Volunteers to help move the Touchstone office before the end of July

  • That God will continue to provide funding for Touchstone

  • For the Touchstone Tribute Dinner in September, we need

    - Venue Sponsor to provide $3000,

    - Table hosts and sponsors

  • Melony’s very busy schedule

HEALING & COMFORT:

  • Our friends who lost their twenty-one year old son three weeks ago

  • A friend’s father as he recovers from a stroke

  • A friend is deciding whether or not to have knee surgery.

  • A young bi-polar man with weekly emotional crises.

  • A friend is having heart surgery in a few weeks.

  • For the stroke recovery of Ron Elder of the Christian music group Dogwood.

  • Melony’s parents in declining health

  • For the family of a friend Parkinsons disease

OTHER:

  • The Webers will have to replacie a van right away.

  • Youth For Christ will be kicking off several of their programs within the next week or so.

  • Next steps for “The Last Days of Buster Drumwright” by Jim Weber, Nan Gurley, Billy Sprague, and Jesse Hill Ford.
